Other than school right now, really all I do is work. I have gotten a membership at Energy finally! I plan on working out at least 4-5 days a week. I really do love working out again and getting back in shape. It makes me feel like I'm really worth something when I try to fix how my body is. I am also trying to be more healthy by not drinking as much soda and sticking to water for the most part. Hopefully I can actually keep up with it this time. Ha.

School
School is finally beginning to get on my last nerves again, but I am determined to finish out this semester strong. I still have about two big projects for my Rome class, two projects for my Human Health and Wellness class, two tests left in Dev. Psych., three papers left for English and the list goes on and on. I cannot wait until this semester is over. I still need to pick out my schedule for next semester, which I am not looking forward to. The only thing I'm looking forward to now is that after this semester I will only have the spring semester and possibly the summer semester and I will have my associate's degree. This definitely keeps me going.

Houseboating Trip
This past weekend, my family went houseboating at Green River. What we planned on being an amazing weekend, turned out to be a not so great time. We haven't been houseboating since September of 2008, so we were all really looking forward to it. When we got to the boat, we found out that only one of the motors was actually in working condition. Although we questioned this, the manager said that we would be fine to still take it. While we were still at the dock, we tried to turn on the TV and see if the satellite dish worked because of all the games on this weekend and of course the NASCAR race, but that didn't work either. So we tried to fix it, but it was impossible. They told us that they would send someone out that night to look at it.
When we finally got out of the dock and got into a cove we liked, John, Cheryl and I went upstairs to see what all was up there. Besides there being a bunch of spiders and cobwebs, there wasn't much at all. I was very dissapointed because there wasn't a hot tub, but other than that I was still happy to be out on the lake. Once it started to get dark, we went to turn on the lights, only to find out that barely any of the lights worked. No lights in the living room worked, AT ALL! So we are all starting to get really annoyed now. At the end of the night, Dad went to turn the generator off, because on every other boat we've had, when you turn the generator off, lights and the fridge still work. Well, of course, not on this boat. Everything goes off when you turn the generator off. So Dad went to turn it back on and it wouldn't come on. So all the food that was in the fridge had the risk of going bad. We had to wait until the next morning before anyone could come fix it. When they did come to fix it, they couldn't get it to work. So we ended up just going back into the dock and going home. We were all very dissapointed in the weekend up to that point.
That night when we got home, John and I cooked dinner for everyone. We had steaks, green beans, corn and macaroni and cheese. It was a very good dinner! John and I then went back to his house to watch the AMAZING UK GAME! The next morning, mom, dad, Tamara, Cheryl, Mike, John and I left for Huber Farms. It was a lot of fun! We then went to Olive Garden for lunch and then off to Kart Kountry. Sunday pretty much made up for the bad houseboating experience.
I finally did finish the Harry Potter series and it was very good. I'm sad that I won't have any other Harry Potter stuff to read anymore though. I've got about seven weeks left in the semester, thank God! I'm doing pretty good in all of my classes. The only class I'm worried about is my Geology Lab class really. Other than that, I'm proud of how I've done this semester. Well that's all for now. Hopefully it won't be so long before I post again!

Busy, busy, busy.
So school started about three weeks ago now and it's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm taking 16 hours this semester. 4 classes (including a lab) on campus and 2 online. The classes aren't too bad and my teachers are pretty cool. This might actually be my favorite semester so far.
So since school started my work schedule has obviously changed. Which is absolutely amazing, but sucks as well. It sucks because now my paychecks are going to be TERRIBLE! But it's awesome because I actually have energy now. I don't know how being a teller can wear you out so much, but believe me, it does!!! So I am now working for the most part Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and every other Friday.
This month is gonna be pretty crazy though! This Saturday is Tamara's first wedding shower and John is also taking pictures for some guy (extra money! whoooo). And of course, it's the UK/U of L football game and I am so pumped!!! On the 18th, we're having the family wedding shower at my house so that should be fun. Of course the 24th is the rehearsal dinner and the 25th is the BIG DAY! Not to mention that my family has a house in the Parade of Homes and that goes on two weekends in September. And it's my Mom's birthday on the 11th and her brother's Marks birthday is this month too!!!! So much stuff going on it's just ridiculous! But it should be a fun month to say the least!
But anyways that's really about it. I'm still so happy that I've fallen in love with John. He's so amazing and he makes me so happy!!!!

My Weekend
This weekend went by crazy fast, unfortunately. Friday of course I worked all day. After work I went home and changed then went over to John's where I watched Titanic for the first time in my life. Everyone freaks out on me when they find out that I haven't seen it before. It was such a good movie. And it really made me think about how those people ended up feeling when they knew that they had no chance of surviving. Pretty sad.
Saturday I worked all day and afterwards John came over and we ended up cooking dinner. We had some amazing steak and his "special" french fries. They have Cajun seasoning and sugar on them and they're amazing!! Then we just hung out with my parents for a while.
Sunday, I went to my old church, then met up with Tamara and her fiancee Mike, for lunch at O'Charley's. After that we went to WalMart to get John a new printer and he gave me his old one because I don't have my own printer upstairs. That night we went to Red Lobster with my parents.
I have started reading the Harry Potter series. I've never read them before, so I'm excited to read them now. I'm almost done with the first book, which I like a lot so far. I just love reading. I could read all day and all night if I didn't have to work and sleep. ha. That's really about it. I need to schedule my little Monty man's next vet appointment, but I keep forgetting. I'm so happy that I got him. He's the cutest, best puppy ever!!!

4th of July
It's been a little while since my last blog. lol. This always happens to me. I get so excited about doing a blog and then I just forget about it. Oops. Haha. So let's see what's happened since then.
This past weekend was the 4th of July, which is seriously one of my favorite holidays. Friday and Saturday of course I worked. But Saturday after I got off, we had a fish fry at my house with some family and friends which was fun. Got to see some family that I don't see very often. John and I stayed there for a little while and then Dad gave us money to go buy fireworks. So we went up to Indiana to get some good ones. We got like $150 in fireworks and then the guy gave us $30 of merchandise free. We had a good time setting them all off. John and I both like fire a lot, so it was nice to actually be allowed to blow stuff up for once. hah.
Sunday John and I painted my bathroom some more. We started painting it like back in March, but we never finished the second part of it. So we finally did that. Then later that night we went to Gloryland for Freedom Day and watched the fireworks. That was a lot of fun. We watched them with Andrea, who is finally back from Florida(!!!!!), her boyfriend Alex, Tamara, and her fiancee Michael. I just love watching fireworks.
Monday, John and I went to Holiday World, which is like my absolute favorite place ever! We got there pretty early and rode most of the roller coasters and then went to the water park. We waited in line for about an hour and a half for the new water coaster, Wildebeest. It was definitely worth the wait though! It was one of the most fun rides ever! We stayed there til about 7 and then headed for home. So all in all, it was a pretty good weekend! I absolutely love my life and I love my boyfriend so much! He makes everything so much better!!!

The beginning
So this is my first blog entry on this blog. I used to have one on livejournal, but I never kept up with it and a couple of my friends have accounts on here, so I figured why not just start one here? So I am.
A lot has happened the past couple of months. For one, I started dating the love of my life on February 13, 2010. Now that I'm with him, I can't imagine my life without him. For someone who has never believed in love, he has definitely changed my mind about that. We've pretty much been together 6 months, but technically we've been dating for 4. We've seen each other every day except for 2 or 3 within that full 6 months. Pretty crazy if you ask me! Haha.
Of course, I'm also going to ECTC. I failed a class this spring semester so that kinda set me back a little bit. I'm taking 2 classes this summer and 6 classes in the fall. I'm hoping to at least finish out my associate's by next summer. So I've got to start actually focusing on school.
I have worked at the credit union for almost a year now. And each day gets more boring and more boring. boo. We all deserve crazy pay raises for all the crap we have to put up with, but it's okay I guess. I mean I won't be here forever anyways.
I have a little puppy named Monty. He is a long-haired miniature dachshund and he is absolutely amazing! He's the best little puppy in the world. He gets annoying sometimes, but of course that's gonna happen. I love having him around and I'm so happy I got him!!
That's really about it. Nothing big has happened this summer. Nothing will really. I'll just be working all the time for the most part. But yepp, that's it for now!!
